no radio road trips

Alex and I went to Atlantic City this weekend with a bunch of my cousins. Fun fun times.

I realized on the way back home that our radio was off. At some point on our way down, we turned off the radio - probably when it was the top of the hour and every station plays commercials. We actually do that a lot (mainly when it's just the two of us) when we have to drive more than an hour somewhere. The radio just gets in the way of us .. talking, bantering, singing, seat dancing, etc. But don't get me wrong, there's also nothing better than a fucking car party when the right music/songs are playing.

I'm not trying to say this is love and this is how it's supposed to be. Some people just like to be more connected than others. I just happen to be the latter. When I'm in your company, I like to try to give you 100% of my attention regardless of whether you reciprocate or not (well the environment - I have to admit I have wandering eyes. Not in a sexual way. I just like absorbing everything going on in my environment).

But that's one of many ways I know I love the feller. Not because we can have a car ride without the radio on. But because there's no one else I'd rather be trapped in a confined space with than him. Well... until we get into one of those heated debates with no real right answer. Because you know, I'm always right.
